Exactly at midnight, on the first day of the new year 2023, Croatia entered the Schengen zone, and with the symbolic act of raising the ramps at the border crossings, the borders in the border areas were finally abolished. A historic moment for all of us, which was officially attended by the mayor of Umag Vili Bassanese and his deputy Mauro Jurman.
